Directions to Camp Otter

Salem, NH

From Boston: Take Route 93 North to exit 1, Route 28 Rockingham Park. Cross over Route 28 onto Veterans Memorial Parkway. At end of Veterans Memorial Parkway, take left onto Lawrence Road. At end of Lawrence Road, take slight right onto Main St., Route 97. At second set of lights (about 1 mile), take left onto Hampstead Rd. (Mobile Gas will be on your right). Take third right onto Hooker Farm Road. There will be a sign for Camp Otter on a tree. Camp is about a ½ mile down the road on the right hand side.

From 495: Take route 495 to exit 50, Route 97. At the end of the ramp head towards Salem, NH on Route 97 North. Travel for 3.7 miles on Route 97 North. Turn right onto Hampstead Road (You will see a Mobil Gas Station on your left.) Travel 0.9 miles and then take your third right onto Hooker Farm Road. There will be a sign for Camp Otter on a tree. Camp is about a ½ mile down the road on the right hand side.

From Concord, New Hampshire: Take 93 South to Exit 2. Take a right off the ramp - this puts you on Route 97. Follow straight - you will go through approximately 7 sets of stoplights. At the 7th light (You will see a Mobil Gas Station on your right) turn left onto Hampstead Rd. Take your 3rd right onto Hooker Farm Road - There will be a sign for Camp Otter on a tree. Camp is about a ½ mile down the road on the right hand side.

From New Hampshire: Take Route 97 towards Salem. Turn left onto Hampstead Road at the traffic light (Mobil Gas Station will be across from you on the right.). Take 3rd right onto Hooker Farm Road - There will be a sign for Camp Otter on a tree. Camp is about a ½ mile down the road on the right hand side.

Once at Camp: Park in the Visitor's Lot across from the ball field. Walk down gravel road past girls' cabins to the center of camp. You will see a flag pole; the office is located behind the flag pole. All visitors must check-in at the Camp Otter office. If your health or disability prevents you from walking moderate distances, please call the Camp Office ahead of time and other accommodations can be made.
