Description: The Andover / North Andover YMCA is seeking highly motivated, team oriented individuals to work in our school age after school program. Group Leader qualified individuals must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma and six months experience working with school age children. Assistant Group Leaders must be at least 16 years old. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning and implementing activities for school age children, assisting with daily program attendance, providing positive motivation and support to both children and staff, and maintaining effective communication with children and parents. Title: Wellness Center Associates - Part Time
Department: Wellness Center
Description: We are looking to recruit talented customer service individuals with a passion for connecting people, communities and organizations. Must be enthusiastic and member-focused to ensure a welcoming, customer-focused environment for members and visitors and able to provide motivational and knowledgeable leadership as part of the Wellness Staff.
If you can do all that, we can train you on the additional duties which include: orientation of our cardio/strength equipment, assist in developing work-out programs, health and wellness initiatives, monitoring and engaging members on the wellness floor and up-keep of Wellness Center. Title: Head Gymnastic Coach
Description: Part-time gymnastics coach wanted for established program. Coaching experience in working with children ages 3 to 12 is necessary. Hours would be approximately 12 per week. (8:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and Saturday 8:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Levels for preschool to level 2. Position starts September 7.
