The Merrimack Valley YMCA has always taught more than swimming, aerobics and basketball skills. We have always stressed personal growth, teamwork, fair play, participation and fun in all YMCA programs. YMCA Code of Conduct

At the Merrimack Valley YMCA, we expect members, staff and guests to behave in accordance with our mission and values at all times, respecting the rights and dignity of others. At our YMCA, we demonstrate RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, CARING & HONESTY by: speaking in respectful tones; refraining from the use of vulgar or derogatory language; resolving conflicts in a respectful, honest and caring manner; never resorting to physical contact or threatening gestures; respecting the property of others; and never engaging in theft or destruction. Adherence to the YMCA Code of Conduct is essential. Non-compliance may result in suspension or termination of YMCA membership privileges.

YMCA staff members are eager to be of assistance. Members and guests should not hesitate to notify a staff member if assistance is needed.

In order to be able to carry out these policies, we ask that members and guests identify themselves to staff when asked.
