Thank You For Going The Extra Mile: Angie Klepach!
If you have ever have the time to watch one of Angie’s swim lessons, you’ll witness an instructor who genuinely cares about her swimmers, their development and the instruction she puts out. Angie typically teaches our younger and newer swimmers, which can be a bit of challenge that requires patience, creativity and a whole lot of fun and enthusiasm. When Angie first joined the team, for months I would find her in the Aquatics office before and after every lesson looking for feedback, asking questions on how she could improve as a swim instructor and working on cultivating her skills. Angie has also taken the new YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor training and excels with the new curriculum and the new program. She teaches a number of lessons each week and is always on time for her shifts, primed with her lesson plan and equipment prepped. She always brings a high level of eagerness and zeal to teach her swimmers. Her swimmers and their parents adore her lessons and each session we have members specifically request that Angie teach their children to swim. Angie has grown into her role as an outstanding swim instructor and has elevated the quality, safety and overall “fun” of her lessons.
