Welcome Fourth Graders!
Please read the information below before your first visit to the YMCA. Participants must be registered for the program. Per COVID-19 restrictions we are unable to accommodate drop-ins.
Waivers
All participants must sign off on this one-time waiver before their child will be allowed to attend the program.
Drop off and pick up
Please drop off and pick up your child at the childcare wing of the building. Drive past the front doors and you will see and additional parking lot to your right. Pull in there and a staff member will greet you. Please drop off between 12:45 and 1:00p. You may also park in the main lot and walk your child to the childcare wing. Pick up will be located in the same place as drop off. Pick up is at 3:30p and no later than 3:45p.
Health Screening
Prior to dropping off, you must fill out this health screen. The health screen must be filled out each week for your child to be able to participate. Children will be temperature checked at drop off. Children with a fever of 100.1 degrees or higher will not be able to participate in the program. In order to participate in the program, parents must fill out the one-time Waiver, the daily health screen and have a temperature of less than 100.1.
Masks & Items to Bring
Children must wear a mask for the entirety of the program. Participants must bring their own water bottles and appropriate clothing to be outdoors for a portion of the program. Please do not bring food to the program. Participants will be asked to keep cell phones or any technology in their bags. Sneakers and activewear are recommended.
Cohorts & Activities
Children will be put into cohorts of 10. Children will be allowed to form their own cohorts, but staff will assist in ensuring the numbers are correct. Staff will record the names of each child in a cohort. The cohort will stay with the same staff for the duration of the program each day. Cohorts will rotate through activities approximately every 45 minutes. Cohorts will have 3 rotations per day and will have some choices in the activities they rotate through. Children will not be allowed to switch cohorts on any given day but changes to cohorts may occur as needed from week to week.
