This program is a free literacy and enrichment program for “at risk” children attending the Francis M. Leahy School in Lawrence. The goal of this six-week program is to fight summer learning loss for rising first and second grade students. The children spend mornings working on a literacy-based curriculum and spend afternoons on enrichment activities such as music, art, nutrition education, character development, physical activity, swimming and field trips.
