Rock Steady Boxing at the Andover/North Andover YMCA is a 12-week program that aims to maximize the mental, emotional, and physical potential of people with Parkinson’s disease. Volunteer Cornermen are critically important to this program as they provide the individualized support that boxers need to be able to participate safely and most effectively in Rock Steady Boxing classes. Cornermen are expected to assist and encourage their boxer throughout each class, while also encouraging independence. The Y will provide training to prepare you for this role.
